2000 ish miles a year, I have antique vehicle liscense plates and insurance. 2000 miles a year turns out that it is driven almost every weekend. Some weekends more than others. You don't see many just crusing around, but you they seem to come out in force at car shows. I think most people just don't drive em.

I drive my 73 almost every day during the summer, winters in Michigan suck.

My '77 is a daily driver when I need it to be. Right now it's laid up with a dead driver-side door latch, so it's a lot less practical to drive.

IMO a C3 is the car ever made and the funnest car to drive that I've ever owned but I can come up with a few reasons why our cars aren't driven all the time.
1. Many are not restored to the point of being reliable enough for the owners to trust them.
2. Insurance restricting use to recreation only.
3. Not as comfortable as a newer car. (noise, heat, etc.)
4. It's a two seater with limited cargo capacity.
5. Poor gas mileage.

I saw a nice orange C3 (75) while driving this weekend. My wife got mad at me because I slowed down to allow it to catch up and stop by me at a light. Mine is a 75 also... but not as nice (yet) as the orange one we saw over the weekend.

Went for a ride Sunday and saw a real nice yellow 68/69 vert comming the other way......we could have almost given each other a high five, we had are arms out so far waving....your right though, you don't see very many C1, C2s or C3s on the road.....but that makes it kind of special when you do.

Ditto on the Camaro numbers. I would add that their were about 300,000 to 400,000 65-68 Mustangs built each year. By comparison, C-3's were around 40,000 per year.

Quick Reply: It's amazing you don't see more C3's on the road..
