Default It's amazing you don't see more C3's on the road..

I mean, they made so many of them. And, it's not like they are valued so high. I see a lot more C5s, but you'd expect that because they're relatively new. Why do you think this is?

Do you drive your Vettes pretty regularly? A lot?

I drive my 71 BB at least once a week weather permitting. You are right about not seeing very many C3s. When I take mine out everyone acts like they have never seen the car before.

Your looking in the wrong location. Just look in peoples garages. Thats where they are.

There are just a few here in Naples. One day I saw two white ones while driving mine. That was cool. We wave of course. Today driving my Element I saw an orange one with side pipes. It was real sharp. I don't drive mine much in this heat. It creates so much heat of it's own that it gets pretty miserable. Now, during our winter months I drive it lots. Joe.

that's why i have a c3 . c-4's are common and do not attract the eye like the wild curves and the loong hood of the c3.
mine lives in the garage and had only been seen by few dozen people since i started the rebuild on it three years ago.

I just took mine for a 25 minute ride, and the only vette I saw was a C3. There are quiet a few here on Long Island, but seeing them on the street is all about timing...

I saw 3 on the road this weekend driving to Maryland and back (on my bike). I've put over 40k on my '77 in the last 3 years.

This weekend was the first time I have had mine out in a month or two. The weather is nice and not nearly as hot as it has been. Much better for cruising in the vette.

I try to drive every weekend if I’m not riding the Harley. The first Sunday of the month I drive the Vette with the Thai classic car club for breakfast. Nice guys and there being very few Corvettes in the Kingdom the love the looks and sound of the 81.This Sunday these pictures were taken for the clubs web board.

i just got mine, so I still take it out quite a bit, but I really don't see that many around here; maybe one a week or something (other than my neighbor's)

They made quite a few, but not nearly as many as the Camaro. To compare, between 1968 to 1970, about 85,000 Corvettes were built. In the same years, Chevy built over 600,000 Camaros!

It's true that you don't see a lot of C3s out there. Mine's a DD (when it doesn't have problems like today), and every once and a while I'll see another and wave.

I put several hundred miles on it a week if possible of course, I work fifty miles from home one way. And I get 50 mpg if I control myself.
