window troubles
i recently replaced a driver door panel and tunnel insulation where i had to remove the console. now when you hit the electric window button it is hot as a firecracker. what could this be it is a 77. thanks for any help.

One side only? I would start by looking under the console at how your wires are hooked up. If I remember right, the switches have two hot leads that cause the motor to run up or down leaving and one hot lead in from the power source. You may have caught one under the console cauing a short.
