Weight and weight distribution 1970??

Default Weight and weight distribution 1970??
Anyone know the weight and front to rear weight distribution of a stock 1970 convertible?

don't have the weight at my fingertips, but if i remember correctly the weight distribution was 55/45 front to rear. the gross weight should be somewhere in the area of 3200-3400 lbs as a starting point.

Curb weight is front 1590lbs and rear 1716lbs. 3306lbs total.

That makes it 48/52 ratio.

The rear is heavier? I always thought they were like 51/49.

The front is heavier...mine was something like 54/46...
