Default Wheels

I saw this car at a Hot Rod show this summer. It was really well done. I thought the wheel selection was pretty interesting. I have no info on the wheels..sorry

Torq-Thrust II series 405 custom with plated chrome
Front 8" wide, 4" backspace.
Rear 9.5" wide, 5.5" backspace.

Tires; Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3
255/45-17 on the front and 285/40-17 on the rear
The rear has offset trailing arms. I had to remove the rear sway bar
to get them to fit.

Regular TT2's with 275/60/15's on the back for that extra meaty look.

I would like to see a picture of a 78-82 model with 17" TT2's and extra meaty tires on the back.

Those would be halibrand knockoffs, probably 18 inchers. These are classically used for AC Cobra's.

Those look like the ones made by PS Engineering in California. Costly, but very high quality.

You are going to have to picture the body on it. It still has a little way to go. The wheels are Budnik Mirage, 9.5x18 front, and 12x18 rear.

Wow, those are wide rear tires on your 68. Are you going to use rear fender flares? Or will that actually fit within the wheel well?

On a different note, what is the widest wheel/tire combo that I could fit on my 79 in the front/rear without flaring and without the tire coming out of the well?

Thank you for your help!

I do have flares on my car. It is an old race car that I am turning into a street car.

I don't have any idea what size you could fit on a stock one. Sorry.
