halibrand wheels with wingnut
Hi guys,
I really like the Halibrand wheels that are usually mounted on the Shelby Cobra 427 and I wonder how it would look on my 69 corvette.
Does anyone have seen such wheels on a 69 corvette or as pictures?

Theres a thread running on her enow called "Show off your wheels" or somethign liek that, someone posted a pictyure of a 69 vert with 17" Halibrand style wheels.
I looked into them, I contacted Team III who make some of the nicest ones around, the issue is with the large calipers on a vette, the dish of the wheel is very small...which I dont really like the look of.

Those Halibrands pictured are bolt ons, not knock-off`s. True Knock-offs are available however and well worth the extra expense because of it`s unique appearance and infrequent use on Vettes. Not a run of the mill wheel and not for everybody but the final touch on a class act Vette.
