Progress pix - aka What's taking so long...

). Anyway, I have been busy with a billion little things. The engine's in, wiring of the EFI system is done, routing and plumbing fuel lines, obtaining new hood, the radiator and fan installed, and my new Corbeau seats are in. One of my biggest hang ups has been waiting for a custom modification to the driver's side header (2-1/2 months!!). Anyway, here are a few shots.Engine's in and includes my new L88 hood which clears the supercharger by a good inch and a half. It will be white gelcoat like everyone else's for a while. The funny aluminum bracket temporary holds a bellcrank for the throttle since it is on the "wrong" side. It works perfectly but is somewhat unsightly. I'll replace it when I develop a better mechansim.

Here's a shot of the Corbeau's in place. They went in easily and fit perfectly. Please forgive the "Survivor" interior. That's for a future project.

I put the EFI ECU (Holley Commander 950) and the LM-1 O2 controller behind the passenger dashboard. The LM-1 is attached using velcro so I can pull it to calibrate it. I will leave the controls exposed until I'm sure everything is wired OK.

When I get my driver's side header, I'll be able to hook these babies up. I have to bring it down to get a custom pipe made - another time consumer...

Great pictures

If I get the header in this week, I'll put all the fluids in it and try to fire it up this weekend. Needless to say, the trips will be short with open headers. It will take a day at the muffler shop to get the side pipes hooked up then I need to pull the trigger on what kind of sound reduction devices to insert in the sidepipes. So basically 2 -3 weeks.

It looks incredible with the supercharger under the hood as it is
What model are those seats? Thanks for the update, glad to see it moving forward
