windshield replacement ??
I saw several threads here about windshield replacement $$ of about $250 - $350. A shop quoted me $800 "to have it done right" - $200 for the glass, $350 for the rubber moldings (three ? pieces) and the rest for labor.... 
does that sound right ? will the insurance pay that or does this sound overpriced ??

Replacement on the 80 was $225 installed at my house. I think I would shop around $800 way to high and I don't think the Insurance company would pay anything close to that amount.

thanks for the replies, that confirms what I thought .... 
.....although I actually believed that guy that the rubber parts are that expensive and that some shops re-use the old moldings
