There are books available (interchange manuals) that not only tell you whihc parts fit other Corvettes but which other GM vehicles have the same identical part but with maybe a different part number. For instance Pontiac part # xxxx might be the same part as Corvette part # yyyy.
I have seen these books at swap meets and on e-bay from time to time.

There are books available (interchange manuals) that not only tell you which parts fit other Corvettes but which other GM vehicles have the same identical part but with maybe a different part number. For instance Pontiac part # xxxx might be the same part as Corvette part # yyyy.
