What do the stars mean??

What do the number of stars and the color of the stars mean under our names on the Forum on the left side of the screen?

purely a function of post count. If you right click on the image and go to "properties" you can tell from the name of the image how many posts we are talking about.....

for example, mine: (I have the 11k pic)

Wish I knew what you were talking about.
I clicked on properties and it tells me nothing of any use other than somenting is gif or whatever
Does each star equate to a certain number of posts or length of time on forum?

it says something like 1K-2K.gif ... meaning that pic is for those with post ranging from 1000 to 2000 ...same idea for the other categories.

When I looked at the properties you are correct it says 11K but yet PTNDL has over 16K posts so it is off by 5K??

no, anywhere from 11K and above has the 3 colored set of starts I think, it ranges from 0-500, 500-100, 1000-2000,...and so on..or something like that.
