Muffler paint

Replaced the stock mufflers on my 69 coupe with aluminized. Complete body-off resto, 5 years ago. Should I black out the undersides? What do I use?

I used black Duplicolor high heat paint with ceramic on mine

I used hi-temp bbq paint on my sidepipes. Make sure you scuff them up with sandpaper and wipe them down with some acetone to remove all the dust. It comes out with a nice flat black look.

I work for a woodstove & fireplace shop. Stovebright sells wood stove high temp paint in lots of colors. flat black, satin black, gloss black, charcoal....
