Default Engine Compartment Skirt Shield

Replaced the engine compartment skirt shields that cover the upper control arms, how the heck do these things stay put? The notches that are cut in the rubber do not hold them down worth a poop. If you have replaced yours how do you keep them in place? Thanks.

Mine...71...were held in by plastic push clips. They went through the shield then into the pre-drilled holes on the inner fenders

The ends fold into the upper control arm.

I put the 8 or so push pins in around the upper portion of the shield, the top is fixed well, but the bottom portion of the ends seem to just tuck under the control arm, but once I start it up they come right out and the shield flaps.
