Interesting Read re Tach Board
I was killing a couple of hours in one of the major bookstores last night and sat down with a C3 Restoration hardback. I have a '75 coupe so I went there first. The author stated that in 1975, GM had the chance to finally correct years of problems with mechanical tachometers in earlier year Corvettes, but instead blew it. Seems GM put a cheap tach circuit board on the tach which probably didn't last thru the first year of the car. Then in 1989, someone came up with a nice $95 fix which is the tach circuit board that the Vette Parts folks are now selling. So I guess I'll go ahead and buy one and maybe get another part working on my car.

Before you buy, do a search because you can build a tach board from parts at Radio Shack for less than $5 if you can solder. Sure beats the heck out of $95 mentioned in that book.
Maybe someone will chime in with the links to the threads or post the parts list and diagram to build the filter.
