I can relate! Took some real patience to figure our just how to get the thing to slide through the hole... those darn metal puzzels at the mall are easier.
well finally went to the garage again wife suggested to use Easy Off Oven cleaner last night before i came out guess what popped right apart took about 10 mins for both dont knoiw whats in the stuff but glad we have self cleaning oven now lmao
I feel your pain... the control arms were the first job I tackled on my own. Lots of bloody lessons learned, but it felt awfully darn good when that first one came off. Even better when I went and bought the gear wrench set and the 2nd came of in 1/10th the time.
