Rear glass
Has anyone installed the rear glass. I have a 1974 coupe that I need to replace the rear glass. The previous owner has put plexiglass in and it took me a couple of weeks before I caught on that it was not real glass. Quess I was looking at too may other things. I have found a piece of rear glass on EBay. Just wondering if it is a home project or I should take it to a glass shop. Any info or instruction would be greatly appreciated.

I have a lexan rear glass also that I want to replace. I found a wrecked 75 that I took the glass out of. It looked pretty simple and straightforward to me. Take off the molding, pop out the lexan, scrape out the old weatherstripping, put the new stuff on, seal it, leak test it, replace the molding.
Anyway, thats my short version of 2 weekend long job.
