Default Whatever, but a speedster is a porsche...

I've always called the vette ragtops Roadsters.

By the way, even the speedsters, jags and MGs had side curtains. Plastic side panels that rain and storms laughed at.

Vettes come two ways, they are either COUPES or ROADSTERS!

Its easy to settle. If you have an owners manual crack it open and see what it says. I seem to remember Coupe and roadster as the terms. The use of convertable seems to be web based.

I did just that, looked at my owners guide. {1962} No where is there any reference to EITHER coupe or roadster nor the bill of sale or window sticker. In the owner`s guide the tops are refered and listed as {1} care of "hard top" and {2} care of "folding top". The word convertible was never mentioned even with the soft or {folding top} instructions. I like the NCRS`s treatment, Roadster.
