I'm thinking about using Sea Foam to clean out my '78 Daily Driver. Sea Foam's website says to add to uel in gas tank, pour into carb and add to engine oil. My question: Do you add to engine oil before or after oil change? Do you put it in, let the engine run and then dump the oil and put in fresh? Or is it something you should add and leave in until the next regularly scheduled change?

Thanx, Pete. KEEP DRIVING !!!

put it in with fresh oil

and drive for a regular oil change interval like that. but keep an eye on the oil incase there is something real nasty going on.

If you put it in the crankcase you should change the oil after about 500 miles of use. this will act like a flush. I put fresh oil in, Sea Foamed it and drained the oil at 500 miles it it was DIRTY. You can also put it in the fuel to clean that system as well. I have had good succes with this product even on new cars to clean the injectors when getting a check engine light.
