Default Hours Meter

Always thought it would be neat to have an hours meter on my engine. Anybody ever put one on? Where do you get one and how do they connect?

Spruce aircraft would be a good place to purchase a hobbs meter
just make sure you get one for a 12v system as many aircraft are
24v. Hook up to a switchable 12 volt source that is activated by
your keyswitch.

Most boat engines are on hours. Any marine supply store can hook you up. 12 volts also. I have one on my boat.

I know we added one to my dads boat years ago. Seems like it came from Bass Pro.
