[QUOTE=corvald]there was prodused 22129 coupees and 16633 convertibles in 1969 [/QUOTE
I believe every year of C3 production coupes far out numbered verts with the exception of the 68 model where about 9900 coupes to around 18,000 verts were made.
Also I'm pretty sure the cost of a coupe was higher than the vert in all C3s
I have a 69 vert,waiting to pull the body and start frame up.
Do you guy remember when 68 & 69 vettes were the most common vette around? During the late 70's - mid 80's they were all over the place- at least around here. $3000.00 got you a 350, 4 spd vert, w/hard top.

didn't see the college part, I admire your courage as these are not cheap cars! I am with you, my car went through some rough days after sitting for a few years due to two kids, but here's how she looks now!
is it possible that small block vettes (L46) could be delivered with BB hood new from the factory in 1969
Have never seen or heard of one that could be documented as such.
As far as how many '69's coupe or convertible body style Corvettes are left FACTORY STOCK, I would venture a guess and say less than 50% of existing cars. Almost everyone I ever see has SOME sort of aftermarket change, even if the slightest.
