As I try to get back into a Vette (had a C4 but really always wanted a C3) I was wondering what the numbers are for auto vs 4 speeds.
Anyone know the numbers originally built? Am sure this is in the black book. Those 4 speeds are hard to find.

Really only looking for Coupe numbers. Maybe I should just get an auto - seem more plentiful, and if I ever wanted to do a LS1 upgrade, am sure that would make it much easier (and cost effective?) to go auto.
If you are going to swap in engines and trans anyway an auto would probably be easier due to the removable crossmember. This makes removal and install much easier.
