Default New 75 Vette owner, quick questions.

Hi all,
I live in the UK and have just bought my first Vette.
I have converted the rear lights to UK spec, they dont allow red turn lights or for stop lights to flash here.
I need to check/adjust the parking brake, another thing needed here to be legal.

1st question. What is preferred method of getting rear of car on axle stands. Do I jack one side at a time and install the stands or can I jack in the middle at rear?

2nd question, One headlight raises slightly proud of the front bodywork. Can I reduce the raise height by adjusting the nut on the actuator rod or is there another method. Not worried about headlight aim at mo, just raise height.
Sure that will be the first of many posts...thanking you all in advance for your help...
jotto.

I raise my car side to side, but you can do it front to rear if you add blocking at the front crossmember to keep from bending the sheet metal.

The open height adjustment for the lights is not at the actuator rod, it is a nut on the linkage that the rod is attached to.

Look at the headlamp linkage picture in the lower right it is part "J"

If you don't have enough nut to get it where you want then you have to loosen the bearing mountings (part "T" lower lefthand picture) and reposition the rear of the door. then adjust the linkage adjust screw again as well as the down bumper screw (part "J" lower left hand picture). When I put mine back in it took several adjustment tries to get it where I wanted it.
