I Have A 69 427-390hp Vert And Am Replacing My Side Exhaust Back To Factory Original And Need To Know If
A,it Came On The Car Originally
B,what It Does
C,factory Part #

The heat riser diverts heat to the choke, allowing it to adjust as the car warms up.

The heat riser valve forces exhaust gas through the intake manifold to warm the engine up faster and to aid in drive-ability.
