Hi gang. Name is Jim, been a member for approx. 2 weeks. Here is my new toy? I'm a first-time Vette owner, and I'm loving it. Have lots more photos, but don't want to hog resources. It's a '79 L82, with about all the options, has the glass tops, automatic, and 30000 miles. Numbers match. Have had it 7 days, waxed it twice already. You can tell I'm hooked! http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-...1/DSCN0493.JPG
Happy motoring,
Jim

It look great Jim. My first vette was a 79 and one I have missed for a long time. Enjoy the new toy and don't be afraid to post pics. Red on black is a good color combo IMO.
Hi Jim, my name is Fred, I have a Vette feddish also. Welcome to the therapy site, in here we help you give up any and all activities that DON'T involve a Vette. We also help you clean out your pockets of all that unused money and wisely invest it in parts, paint, & driving pleasure.
Welcome to the Forum! And congratulations on your acquisition. I have a soft spot for 1979s, having driven one for many years. It's still around as you can see from the pic. You will enjoy it very much.
