Can anyone recommend a windows based Desk top dyno program?

Yes absolut! Performance Trends program Engine Analyser. I have tried it parallell to CHP magazines monster 454 buildup and it was very exact, calculating 490 HP, when CHP measured 495 HP. http://www.performancetrends.com/

Don't buy Desktop Dyno... It's stinks...

I bought Desk top dyno. Its crap....the book was ok. Thanks

I hate to sound ignorant, but I purchsed Desktop Dyno and was disappointed in the cooker cutter choices you make to put the "engine" together. For instance, you pick valve size in the heads, but it seems it would make more sense to choose the brand due to inherent differences. ie - Vortec versus stock, Edelbrock RPM versus Etec.

Just down loaded engine analyser and its great. I Found i make 470hp at the flywheel.
