Default A little progress update

so for those new to this....i'm a complete rookie using info from the forum to help me rebuild the back end of the car...it all started with a leaking differential gasket.

so after tearing out the rear of the car a-la horsepowerTV....here's my progress....

1. bought new air compressor and tools - holy cow do they make things quick

2. bought a sandblasting set up for aforementioned compressor

had to take a break (and give a break to visa as well....)

3. picked up some POR 15

so i started simple and began work on the differential crossmember...

and now....

before:

after blasting:

now with POR-15

thanks to all who have helped so far....i'll have ton's more questions later

Why not coat the inside of your crossmember also to prevent inside out damage?

Looks good, if you need some more practice I have plenty of parts I can ship to you Seriously it's nice to have tools to work on your stuff and get the quality YOU expect.
