Ah, ok, so the body could just be the standard later C3 body too... Ok, I should have picked that up...

Thanks!

I think it pretty stupid VBandP has to photoshop pic's for their
advertising

They could get alot of real photo's from the C/F and post real cars
like Cris M. friend or many others here

Sorry about the confusion over our catalog artwork.

We receive tons of Corvette images from customers and enthusiasts both on and off line. This is the stock for all of our catalogs and advertisements. The cover everyone liked best (we had several to choose from) was the one in question. Until I read this I assumed it was just some customers sweet Vette. It turns out, the wheels on the cover car are from a long time customer and friend - Chris McDonald and are on his ’69 Corvette. The body is from another good customer – (I need permission before I give his name). Our in-house artist did merge (with PhotoShop) the images together. He loved the way the later model C3 body looked with those wheels.

Here is some other information:
Wheels/Tires: Intro Pentia 18x9.5 front 18x12 rear.
Flares: ACI Fiberglass

This link tells all about Chris McDonalds ’69 and what mods it has.

This link is his wheel supplier.

Sure it's ok, BUT, what if !!

Say some new guy is into corvettes and is new on the forum looking for a killer set of wheels, see's the pic, then call's VBP, and is told they are steam roller size, then goes buy some high dollar custom wheels to find they don't fit without other big money mods.

thats all I'm saying
