Default Door Panels on ebay

I have seen a lot of 1970 and up door panels on ebay, but few 1969's. The bare panels look the same for the two models ie sans the triangular carpet strip. Are the panels the same?

The panels are not the same. The 69 panel has an insert above the armrest that the 1970 - 1977 cars did not have. The 70-77 cars had this insert molded in to the panel.

Go to this link to view a 69 panel.

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but the triangle is way different in design.

The 70-77 door panels will bolt up to the door and work just fine.

Thanks for the reply. The 70+'s are more readily found. The bottom carpet looks like it has to be added, so I could probably get by with it. I am just sort of worried about the top "molded in" portion.
