Default Interior progres over the last year and a half...

Just figured I would share theprogress of my interior over the last year or so. First, here is a pic of what she looked like when Ibought her. Not too bad but needed some updating...

Now after quite a few updates including new carpets (now I need to get new floormats to match the cutpile carpet), new leather seat covers, wood accent pieces / panels, mahogany steering wheel, re-painted a bunch of interior parts (still want to re-finish the dash pads - upper and two lower), some new knick knacks, a better stereo (which still has a long way to go), armrest and quite a few little things here and there like vents, visors, shift **** etc etc. Well, here she is today....

In the next few years, I would also like to upgate the gauges (and have a working tach and clock), get the stereo to a better place and quaite a few smaller things.

This is going to have to do for now since my time and money is going to b tied up in the cooling system (on order), exhaust system (headers, ss piping and mufflers) in the coming months and then an engine swap in the spring.

Also just wanted to thank folks on this forum who have answeredmy any questions.
Shane

Quick note....I just looked at the after pic and realized it almost looks purple. I just want to assure everyone I did NOT make my interior purple. Kept the oxblood interior...I think the lighting just did something funny to the color.

Just a digital camera--they suck. I love red interiors on Vettes--yours is looking good! Here's a color balanced image.

Thanks. I have no idea what "color balancing " is but that looks a lot closer to what the car actually looks like. Is that something I could fix with most pc image programs? Editors? Or is that something more advanced? Would it be called color balancing in the program?

Thanks again,
Shane
