Well, i'm completely redoing my newly acquired 75 stingray, and I've been looking at some new wheels and rubber. I'm pretty sure im gonna buy the Torq Thrust II's, but choosing tire size on muscle cars like this is still new to me. I know I'd be looking at wider (if not bigger) tires on the rear, so just how big can i go? more than 300? im open to all suggestions in front and rear tire sizes. also, if you have different than stock sizes, post some pics of your setup! im just trying to get ideas here.

P275/50/R15 but it's to wide for the 8 inch rim. The side wall is even with the fender. It's on a 75.

I have 17x8" wheels with 255.50.17 tires...nearly exactly the same ride height.......17" tires are heaps easier to find than z rated 15" tires.....if i was doing it again i would look at 18" wheels.......seem to becoming very common......john
