bulb replacement for a newbie
first of all i am a newbie of about 4 months and i love this forum. ok i think i have a bulb out on my speedo cluster the lower left say 0-20 and right 140-160 light up good but straight up doesnt. also my high beam light is not working how many bulbs are there to luminate the speedo and also what all is involved in replacing them. you help is appreciated by the way it is a 77. thanks

I don't have my AIM here, but I recall 4 bulbs each for speedo/tach...
plus the high beam, directional, and I think there are others.
Many times the center socket contact or the grounds at the socket get dirty/corroded.
If you can, try reaching up behind and wiggling the bulb holder
a bit to see if it's intermittent.
You'll probably have to pull the dash to get them all easily.
If you do .. replace them ALL ... even the center guage cluster.
Good luck

Cant help with the bulb - but glad to see another Mississippi guy here on the forum. There are a bunch of Miss c3ers here - some talk of even getting together and having a cruiz/work day/weekend.
