Default engine decoding help

Can someone please help me decode this engine casting numbers.

On the front passenger side reads... V2926FB and near that is 196005849.

The rear drivers side reads 12CM 3882886.

I tried to find this on some of the chevy sites but could not find that sequence, All I could really see is that V stands for the "flint plant" could anyone clear up the rest...Thanks in advance

What's the VIN of your car? I've looked up the casting number 3882886 and can't find it anywhere. Are you sure that that is correct. Sometimes the numbers can be hard to distinguish. Sometimes a 3 looks like an 8 and so forth.

Also, what engine is original to your car?

You were right on this, looking at it better, and in daylight.. The numbers read 19C005849 V0926EB in front 12CM-3932386 in rear, looking at the engine codes, It shows casting from 1969, but it shows 3 different possibilities,

1969 3932386 302 290 290 4 Camaro Z28
1969 3932386 327 210 210 2 Camaro
1969 3932386 350 300 350 4 LT1

Is there a way to see which one it is? thanks again for any help

If the final two characters are actually 'FB', then you've got a 1969 327 with Powerglide 235HP 2 barrel carb for a full size Chev.

EB is a code from the 1957-65 period either a 283 or 327 motor.
