Default car cover

JC Whitney has a waterproof car cover (item #ZX494610N). It's only $80.00. Anyone ever bought one. Or could someone recommend a good waterproof cover. I live in New Jersey so I need help with one that standsup to snow. Thanks for any input.

Only advice I can give is be sure to remove cover on hot days after it gets wet...leaving it on can ruin paint...seems there is a reaction with moisture between cover and vette surface when sun hits it all day...I made that mistake with a quote"waterproof" cover...(just dry car/cover,and put back on)....same goes for front BRAS....

I use the Noah car cover. $150 at Zip's. Very pleased with it.

Snow! We are not going to get any of that this year. If the car is going to be outside don't get a cheap one. The Noah covers are very good. Get one that breathes or you will be in for a surprise next spring.

My dad and I actually just bought a Covercraft Weathershield cover for our Vette; it's a custom fit cover, water resistant (none of the covers that I saw was truly 100% "Waterproof", even the Noah brand; Covercraft even stated so on their website), UV resistant, snow resistant, and is rated highly against tree sap, bird droppings, and sea air.

we paid $239 for from AJ USA, here in San Diego. A little on the pricey side, but considering it's a custom fit with 2 side mirror pockets (and it fits the C3 VERY well!), I like it!

The one thing that kinda bothers me about it is that it's such a thin material compared to the Noah cover, but since we get a lot more sun than rain here in San Diego we wanted the higher UV protection rating.

It's also a very breatheable material and rolls up nicely into a very small footprint to fit in the back corner of the Vette.

Oh, one thing that was mentioned to me by the salesperson: if you have a light colored car, get a light colored cover, no matter WHAT brand cover you buy. Otherwise, if there's any rain or melted snow that falls on the cover, it can bleed through to leave splotches of that color on the paint. It was also recommended to take the cover off and shake it out after a heavy rainstorm, and to try to brush the snow off after a snowstorm...
