Default Steering Wheels....

Does anyone know of someone in SoCal who would recover the steering wheel in my C3? I'm in Huntington Beach and can drive a reasonable distance.

Thanks

Sorry, no (just doing a ttt for you).
If you do find somebody then ask a few questions. I was going to send mine to the US for a refurb & whoever I spoke to on the phone thought it was funny that I was in England. OK, it can be amusing at times, but not that funny I asked a few questions & it seems that they sent the steering wheels to be recovered in FRANCE!!!! So I'd have to pay postage to the US, then to France, then back to the US & finally back to the UK! Apart from paying all the postal charges, it would mean that my Vette would contain something done in France. I'm English, that sort of thing just isn't on, old chap

Chech with Chuck Pelton here on the forum. He & his wife restore Corvette steering wheels and do a damn fine job at it. Depending on your wheel, he may have one already done and might sell you it on an exchange basis.
