I have a 73 vette and the front bumper needs to be repainted. No damage to the front end, just needs painting. The paint on the body of the vette is excellent. I would prefer that the body shop be located in the Fort Worth/Arlington area, but will travel for excellent results. Also, I would prefer that the body shop work on classics/muscle cars, especially vettes
I took mine to JB's corvette specialist (972) 484-0403 in Farmers Branch. John runs a very good corvette shop with excellent work and fair prices. I've gotten a collection of trophies now and his paint work certainly helped it. I live in Mckinney if you want to come look at his work.
I second that. John at JB's Corvette Specialists painted my car early this year and he did a great job on it too. He really knows vettes and his turnaround time is good. Give him a call and at least stop by for an estimate. Tell him Jeff witht he dark blue 79 reccomended him.
I think his business does pretty well and I can say from experience that there's no pressure sales job involved. I stopped by one day on my lunch break before the paint job and he gave me an estimate quick and easy that didn't change along the way. Let me know if you want to see any photos of mine or stop by and see it. I'm in Richardson.
Another vote for for JBs Corvette Specialists. Mine is in his shop getting put back together right now - just had it repainted black. Before that, he did a very nice job fitting and painting an L88 style hood for me. You can't go wrong with John. If you stop by, tell me how the black 75 is looking, and don't ask him how the car ended up with him 8^)
