you have to upload the photos from your ''my photos'' on your computer to a hosting site i use http://www.imagesup.com/,,,,after you upload them on the hosting site,,,, when you reply to a post you click on your hosting site,,,go to where your photos are stored click on a photo that you want in your post ,,,go back to the post your making and add the photo,,,there was a time where this hosting site was free for some time limit to forum members go there and e mail them to find out

Hello,

See if this will help you.
kdf

I am using a web site called TINYPIC HOSTING. This is a free website that will help to post pictures in places like this.

here is the address: http://tinypic.com/

Here is what I do.
1. After I download my photos on my computer I then go to this website and use the browser to find my photo.
2. I then use the browse function to host a photo and create an internet address,
3. I copy the address that has this format:
(IMG)http://tinypic.com/filename

4. I then post it in the Forum message
5. To make sure it will show up I use the PREVIEW POST button at the bottom of the reply thread.
6. If it looks ok, I will then SUBMIT REPLY.

How do you add pic just as attachments? I have seen a few people do this.

If you're a contributing member you get those privileges. There's a sticky thread I think in Ken's newsletters about how to become one.

Rihwoods,
I tried it and of course, as you already know, it worked.
You just taught an old dog a new trick.
Thank you.

Yellow73sb,
10 years and a few dollars. I started this total restoration in August 1995 and just finished in the last few weeks. Waiting for seatbelt grommets I purchased on e-bay and then the seats go in. Still need to buy a smog pump system and shoulder belts, total cost $2500.00 for those 2 items. I have owned this car since 1972 and look forward to driving it next spring. Labor of love, did everything myself except paint (I stripped it) and engine internals. 6 hours run time on a rebuilt L79 motor . All numbers match on everything. I am second owner. 45,000 miles and everything works.(including clock and vacuum wiper panel)
I love this car.
