Hey guys... ok this is going to sound stupid, but i have a honda del sol... and for those of you that don't know.. the rear kinda (in a real real abstract way) .. don't poke too much fun...reminds me of my 75 with the flat back window and flat rear area. In the del sol i can put the back window down. I would LOVEEE to have a removable back window in my vette as well as i think that is an awesome feature...
would say a 69 removable back window system work in my case???
if so ... would anyone know cost... place... reliability of a place to buy the whole setup???

The removable back window was available from 68 - 72 I beleive. You can find most parts on ebay or through some of the vendors such as Zip or Paragon. You will need to get the back window and frame from a 68- 72 car, a pair of window latches, latch mounting plates, a rubber seal, and the rear roof panels that have a cutout for the latches. I put this removable window conversion in both my 74 and my father's 75. There is not a company that offers the whole things as a kit but again you can get most parts through ebay or vendors. Do a search for "rear window" and you should be able to pull up several posts on this.
