I don't think it's a real blower. I read it to mean that there's a carb inside the blower case and the belt is attached to the crank, but there's no rotors inside the case. Why go thru all of the trouble to fake a blower? They're not all that expensive...
Edit: darn... I was typing at the same time as the guy above.
My dad just bought a Mustang II funny car body off of Ebay that he's going to use in conjunction with some Ford parts. He used to run up and down the West coast in the '60s and '70s with a funny car team. I think it would be a blast to have a nostalgia funny car.
I like it, reminds me of when I was kid & EVERYBODY ran funny cars. I think it would be a blast to run on the street & pop the body up on a cruise night somewhere.
Ok, for $14,700 it looks like it has some potential. Somewhere.
For those that missed it, here is the cut and paste of the blower description...........It has a mild 454 with a 750 Holley inside of the mooneyham 6-71 blower.......But all in all...not bad for what you get. Only $14,700? But your towing it home. And you have to add in all that extra cost. It will be interesting to see what it sells for. 23 hours to go.
