spiral bore carb spacers
So...
I saw a phenolic carb spacer for the Q-jet today at Summit.
My dad started drooling over this spiral bore spacer that was made specifically by Summit; I looked at it and kept thinking about that Tornado device...I just can't shake the feeling that it's a gimmick meant to separate me from $100.
Anyone used this thing?

Dont forget to put magnets along the fuel lines to ionize the fuel molecules and thereby increase your gas milage and horsepower.
Cow Magnets work the best.

That's about what I thought.
I see all of the special "Spectre" stuff in the local Pep Boys and Kragen...All I can think is, "Wow, cheap chrome plating 'bling bling' items that I'd never in a million years buy."
The spiral bore phenolic spacer just seems to me to be the same sort of thing.
I DO know that a phenolic spacer is a good thing, since it doesn't contract heat like a steel or aluminum spacer, and helps to keep the carburetor itself cooler, plus helps to lift the carb up just a little bit for more time for fuel/air to mix.
