Front Lower Spoiler
My 77 has a cracked front bumper cover and I was looking thru the ecklers catalog and I also need the front lower valance but my question is it shows a front lower spoiler as being an attached part to the lower front end. Mine does not have a front lower spoiler on it. Was that an option or an aftermarket accesory? Mine could of at one time had one and thru minor damage could of been tore up and never replaced. It would look good installed so do I need one to keep original?

The factory original (68-79) front spoiler(air dam) is just a fragile black abs plastic piece. Maybe 2 1/2 " down with about 8-10 mounting holes. Easy to break on a parking lot barrier. Mounts just ahead of the wheel opening. Kinda blends in to the underneath of the car. Not too noticeable but helps with motor cooling.
