I added them to my '74 using a J.C.Whitney wiper controller. It wasn't plug and play and requires some tinkering. To find out how I did it just do a Google search for "good solution for intermittent wipers" make sure to use the quotes.

I would start by seeing if I could get this switch to fit into my existing switch location (will require disassembly of the switch case).
84-89 Corvette wiper switch
If I could get the switch to fit then I would see if I could get this motor to fit.
88-96 Corvette wiper motor
An 80+ motor may work if wired similarly.
Then with a 88 wiring diagram in hand (or help from the C4 forum) I would alter my harness to operate it.
Since I have a '74 I would also have to change the washer bottle to a 75+ and add a 75+ washer pump.
Looks like you'll have to be the Guinnea Pig.
