Frame off rebuild of my 80
Here are a few pics of my 80 as it undergoes a frame off rebuild. The car is at 2 different shops one for the body and one for the mechs. The frame was media blasted then painted with por-15. The brake lines and coilover suspension are just being started. The body is on a dolly built from plans on this site. Floor pans will be next.

The suspension is by Vansteel. It includes all new steering, complete offset trailing arms, and performance plus system with 4 wheel coilovers. All new brakes, Rear end rebuilt, trans rebuilt, drive and half shafts powder coated w/new u-joints, new SS brake and fuel lines, new SS exhaust and mufflers. More info later.
Here is a photo before starting. It sat in my drive for about 10 years.

Reason: re title
Great photos. As you can see from my signature, I'd like to keep an eye on your progress. Are you going with frost beige or are you changing the color?

I am going to a 2 tone paint with frost beige on top and viper yellow on the bottom, A small hugger orange pinstripe will sepparate the 2 colors. Thats the plan as long as I stay on my meds and don't change my mind. Db
I was also thinking of an orange lower but I think it would be too contrasting of the colors.
Many years ago, I knew a guy who painted a '75 Chevy pickup burnt orange metallic with a beige insert along the sides and beige on the roof.
The color combination looked fantastic!
