What kits are you guys using? Where are you mounting your bottle? Any clearance issues with the plate?

You put the bottle where the spare tire carrier is, thats cool. Are you on a microswitch, or push button?

Microswitch at WOT on throttle body. Remote bottle valve a must since can't just reach behind the seat. Fuel pressure safety switch also good idea. Don't forget the purge valve. Mine purge right up by the windshield on each side and spray up along the pillar post. Ran 1/8" steel lines from a tee on the firewall....all concealed. Push button purge on the Hurst shifter handle. Let me know if I can be of any assistance to ya.

If I may...A couple of simple questions slightly related:

I've always wondered - How much does a bottle of nitrous cost and how long does one last?

25lb bottle nearly $50 bucks

"This largely depends on the type of nitrous kit and jetting used. For example, a 125 HP Power Shot kit with a standard 10 lb. capacity bottle will usually offer up to 7 to 10 full quarter-mile passes. For power levels of 250 HP, 3 to 5 full quarter-mile passes may be expected. If nitrous is only used in 2nd and 3rd gears, the number of runs will be more."

Jim

EDIT: How long a bottle lasts also depends on how much purging you like to do

Thanks for the info, I'll have to ask you about some of the more detailed stuff after I get the kit(100-150 shot). Maybe for Christmas . Thanks again.
