Got my old "Member since 1999" back!
Wow,
I just logged on, and noticed I got my "Member since 1999 back".
Heres what happened: I originally first joined the forum in 1999, when it was called the Dobbs forum. Back then you could directly post pics until someone really got carried away.
Anywho, about 2 years ago or so, we all had to resubmit for log in, and when I did, I looged in as a new memebr, and lost my old star rating
All you had back in 99 were:
C-1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Only general posts and for sale, no tech posts. No other topics were available
Great forum, and has grown with the times
Hard to beleive its free....
Congrats to the folks that have spendt thier time keeping this forum alive

Paul: Yep, Im the guy that meet you in Tn. Its red now. Check out my corvette photos in the gallery. Yep, the 2d time I logged in it was MELVINJ, so MELVIN and MELVINJ are the same guy
67: Yep, I was a lazy typer back THEN (ALL CAPS)
I couldnt fugure out back then it was considered YELLING

I see you also got back your member number... you are number 487. I still have the "member since July 99" so I should have a fairly low member number, but when I changed my username I guess they gave me a new number, and by then it was 180,850 !!!

oh, and memories? Didn't your dad have a white vette also? you posted a pic of both together... i think...
