Driving shoes
Just got these...very comfortable and much better than any tennis shoe I've used...
They are reinforced on the lateral side of the right shoe for heel/toe downshifting feel for smooth braking/acceleration in the turns...
My bud once nearly wrecked his vette wearing cowboy boots on a panic stop...
What do you wear ?

I've got a pair of Vans Classics that I wear when I autocross...They're not made of Nomex or anything, but I've got excellent pedal feel through the thin soles on the shoes. It's the next best thing to driving barefoot, which I can't do per rulings.
Works great!

I drive barefoot -- in all my vehicles ...even on days like today where the temp was 9 degrees when I left this morning. I don't slip off the pedals, and I have a lot of feedback through the pedals -- and it's about as cheap as them come!
