has lots of valuable information, does anyone here maintain it?
Yes, a forum member maintains it but I can't remember his screen name. He is an old timer here just like me. It seems that he hasn't done much too it for a while and there are some tech articles that are now missing.
Some of my '71's information was used on that website. It hasn't been updated for a long time.
However, I have been conducting a 1971 LS-6 Corvette survey along with Jim Wallace, we are both NCRS members, however the survey has many LS-6 owners who are not. We currently have approximately 1/3rd of total production accounted for, and are finding some interesting anomalies about these cars.
If you are an owner or know of someone who is, we would gladly send a survey form and love to add this important info as we are updating an article to be written about these unusual cars. Thanks, Warren

Sold new at Botnick Motors, 179 Front Street Binghamton N.Y. Finish in its factory colour of 983 Brands Hatch Green with Code 420 Saddle leather interior. Powered by a numbers matching LS6 454/425hp engine with a numbers matching M22 4 speed rock-crusher transmission and an unusual AW 3.08 rear axel gear. Very nicely optioned with power steering, power brakes, power windows, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, rear window defroster, white letter tires, Am/Fm push button stereo radio and more. This very rare and collectible Corvette is one of only 188 LS6's ever produced and is of course fully documented with tank sticker, protecto-plate, warranty book, owner history and owners manual. A great opportunity to purchase a rare and unique high horse power Corvette that is still in very original condition.
Thank you for your prompt and kind response. This car is in the survey, it belonged to Dick Hubbard, he had 2, the other being a Steel Cities Grey convert. He advertised this car in Hemmings, I called on it and received all the information. At that time he was asking $79K.
Do you know what the price is at Legendary Motor Cars LTD?
By the way, we have a few 3:08 geared M22 LS-6's in the survey, sure seems like a strange combo to me too!

I called them back in late September, they were asking 120K CDN.
I'm sure they dropped the price by now, plus you would have to add, god knows how much, to do a body-off, paint, etc. etc.
Years ago, I knew these were the last of the performance rats, and that their time had not yet come. Looks like the cars are getting their due recognition.
I know of another '71 Brands Hatch green/green interior M22/4:11 coupe for approximately 150K, unrestored. Also a Nevada silver/red interior M40/3:08 convert for 162K, unrestored. Also a Mille Miglia red/saddle interior M21/3:36 coupe for 155K, unrestored.
the price of the 1971 LS6 at Legenday is 124,000 canadian

Currently we have approximately accounted for 74 of the 200 total LS-6 optioned Corvettes. Breakdown is 69 of the 188 production LS-6 cars and 5 of the 12 ZR-2 optioned LS-6's.
Approximately 14 M21's, 13 M40's and the balance M22's. Total M22 count should be 110 units for LS-6 cars and another 12 for ZR-2's. Leaving the remaining 8 units for LT-1 ZR-1's.
Of the 78 LS-6's without M22, it appears that the breakdown might be close to 50-50 for M21/M40 trans. Just speculation though at this point.
Please have anyone you know contact me, about other LS-6 cars out there, thanks. Warren
