New Hooker Sidemount headers install spark plug wire problem need some help.
I just installed my new Chrome Hooker Sidemount headers on my 1978 vette 350.The only problem that I have is on the drivers side front spark plug wire nearest the front of the engine I have no clearance for my spark plug wire it is touching the header when you push it on the plug as far as it will go I have 90 deg spark plug ends.I could by some of thoes spark plug wire heat shields that you pull over the wire dont realy like the looks of them so I was woundering if any of you guys had this problem with these headers and what you did to correct it.If you have any pictures of your engine with these hraders on that would help also thanks

Depends on the heads and plugs.
Mine are tight but do not touch. I have Edelbrock RPM heads and am using Champion RC12YC plugs which are a little shorter than stock. There are shorter plugs but there but you have to do some digging.

Run the wire past the header on top of the valve cover and then go in from the front side. The wire should be away from the header then.
