Hey guys, I'm friends with this guy and his dad is thinking about selling this vette for $2300 I believe. It has no motor or tranny, but it pretty solid. Its an unmolested car and looks like it just needs some TLC. What do you guys think?

Kinda strange calling a car without a motor or tranny "unmolested" but if it truly is a solid car and you're not interested in a 100% stock car, $2300 seems cheap enough to make it interesting. If you have the time, money and talent to take on a project car, I'd say go for it.

Sounds cheap enough, but you need to have a realistic idea of your planned intentions before jumping in with both feet. C3's are expensive for brake repairs, rear wheel bearings, paint job ($5K), then the drivetrain, cooling system, accessory brackets, exhaust, etc. it all adds up fast. The nice thing is that you can put just about any engine/ tranny combo you want in there
