They claim all their systems are bolt on with no modifications, and only take 2 hours to install.

They advertise in Corvette Magazine, almost every issue
You might want to talk to someone who has done one of these because I read in one of the Corvette Mags in a letters column that the person wasn't happy with the way they sealed or kept out road and wind noise. Just something to check out becasue the dealer will only tell you that they are perfect, of course.

RedC3,
I just read their ad again and it says "The Kit Includes: (2) Pivotal Assembly Systems (Left & Right), (2) High Powered Lift Shocks, Wiring Harness Extension, All mounting Hardware and Detailed Instruction Manual"
They don't mention the price but if it is as much as Corz says, then that's pretty steep, especially if they don't fit PERFECT.
I'd be pretty upset if I went to all that work and spent that amount of money and it wasn't perfect. Better get some references before buying or better yet, go look at a set that someone installed.

there is a vendor at vette fest that sells these for c-5's and the hindges are made of steel ,he told me the other vendor that sells them for c-3's are made of alum..and not as good of quality
I purchased mine about 6 months ago. They were direct bolt on's...Cost was $750.00 and the price was going up. I saw the C3 with the vert doors at Carlisle myself...spoke with the vendor since I had them on mine already. You should be getting 4 gas pressured rods, 2 to a side...16 bolts, which are the direct bolts for your current door hinges and two hinge adapters. Took a total of about 5 hours to install them. Also, you may have to splice in about 12" of your own wire.
IMO, the doors look great!! They aren't for everyone. Amazing to see the difference in ages where the doors are accepted by people. Folks up to about 45 or so really like them ( or they say)..and older folks can't accept the modification or the custom on the car..purists...and thats OK as well.....
The company i bought them from is....Dream Car Customs...phone number is 912.661.4275. The owner of the company is Troy La Grone. He spent a good 30 minutes on the phone answering any question I had. Good Luck..If you need close ups, i can take a few shots or two. Just leave me a PM with an email address. One word of caution. These do come in a brushed aluminum color. DO NOT paint them..I made that mistake...
if you really want to be unique, weld the doors to the birdcage and glass up the panels, all body seams and glass in the headlights and run small lights in the grille..get in and out hazzard style...totally unique and even would look better than the lambo doors which aren't lambo doors at all..they are ricer doors, no lambo has doors that hinge like that.

They remind me of the fad in the late 70's of the rear deck hatch that lifted (and the stationwagon) that was the rage on t-tops models up to 1977. All the modified show Vettes had one.

I like this idea but what do you do about windows(rain)

Even though this was meant as a joke, Dukes of Hazzard has always been my favorite show and I'd like to see someone do it. Seriously.
