Ok - we all know John Dodd created a copy Rolls Royce of 27 litres - but are there any - maybe yours. - monster engined C3's around.
Think we should start at at least 9 litres - 540 cubes...........

One of my friends is building a 540 for his cruiser. Should be pretty fun.

gotta just mention this in passin........
years ago - holiday in /on island of Majorca - playboy island of the Med - well, at least one of them.
Walking by a refueling station for boats - all Gold card owners. Had to watch in awe as Chevy twin Turbos etc pulled up to refuel.
Jesus, the money for fuel / gas was mind blowing. Thousands of dollars per boat. And what a queue of vessels.
Never seen anything like it......... gas station musta had biggggggggg tanks.
Mind U - the galls sprawled on the decks of said power boats was equally impressive - no fatties there. All Playboy types.

monster engine!
Guys,
You've got me thinking........I've got an anemic L48 in my Vette, but I also have three 27 litre Rolls Royce Meteor engines in the garage. I bought them off the Australian Army when they were getting rid of their Centurion tanks about 20 years ago. They're virtually the same as the Rolls Royce Merlins, only they aren't supercharged. They have a pair of Solex updraught carbs in the valley of the V12. If I could fit one of them into my Vette, would I win the contest?????

Rod Hadfield from Castlemaine Australia Had a twin project going on and I believe he has finished both parts. He wished to fit an aero engine to a car and make a car engine suitable to power a plane. The car engine was a big block and the aero engine ended up in a 55 chevy. It was a Merlin V12 of 27 litres and had to use a multiplication gear to make use of the power but low redline. I understand the 55 has been sold to someone in the states.
The driver sat in the back seat and it was painted like a WW2 fighter plane.
He also had a T bucket with Hemi and twin superchargers on top. It's name was Mother Duck, again sold to the states.

That's nearly 29.5 liters. Cubic inches / 61.02 cubic inches per liter = liters. There's more about his car here: Jay Leno's Tank Car on "My Classic Car"

I was under the impression that "Motion Lotion" was CB slang for Gas or fuel.
If you do a google on the term it seems the more popular usage of the term is related to close interpersonal contact.
