Our local vette club went to Utah to the Hill Air Force Museum one saturday and this plane had been rolled outside of the building to make room for a banquet the day before. They let us line our cars up by it and one guy from our club clinbed up the fire escape ladder up to the top of the building and snapped a few shots, anybody know what plane it is? Hint, it will fly coast to coast in 58 minutes...and that was back in the 60's. O and my vette is the red one by the back of the plane.

Hmmm, haven't seen one of those in a while. SR-71. I used to live near Edwards Air Force Base and would see them fly almost daily when growing up.

No, its not an SR-71 blackbird. I don't know what it is. We dont have them here at MCAS Miramar.

Not an A-10 is it?

Edit: Woops, I was looking at the wrong pic. I guess I am semi-dyslexic for reading one post and looking at pics on another.

Well, is the other one an A-10?
